"Jade Garden is a favourite of mine when I'm in Tseung Kwan O. No matter what I order, the food is delicious, well presented, and the staff attentive. Tonight, I tried the braised abalone (tender, but still with a bit of bite - Al dente!) with crab meat, vermicelli, and Enoki mushrooms. Where has this dish been all my life? It has become an immediate favourite. I also ordered the suckling pig, roast goose, soy chicken combo - equally delicious!"

"5 stars: I would have given them 5 stars even if the food is mediocre (which it is not, food was great!) as they don't put any MSG in their food! I am allergic to msg (in large amounts) and places like this is so needed for me in Hong Kong! Food was great. We had soup, strawberry ribs, chicken, food rice and tofu. The ribs and fried rice is especially flavourful! Price is moderate. HKD 610 for 4 of us. This restaurant is certainly proof that you don't need msg to cook good food! + No msg + Good flavour + Customisable, you can request less oil or salt if you wish + Moderate prices - It is ALWAYS full. You almost cannot expect to walk in on the weekends. You HAVE to book in advance during weekends!"

"Food: It was okay-delicious, but it was a bit expensive. Maybe because it was on 1/1. Their cha xiao rice was quite good though to be honest. Service: Nothing special about their staff. They are okay responsive in serving their customers. Atmosphere: It's a Chinese diner, so what do you expect? It's slightly crowded and festive I guess."

"Great Cantonese food! It’s very crowded on weekends, so arrive early or expect a long wait. Even when seated, you will feel very close to other tables."

"Part of the Maxim chain. Clearly understaffed but not a surprise, given the high cost of running a restaurant in HK. Staff are clearly trying their best and you can see they are able to spot the regulars as well. Nothing much to complain about the food, everything served hot as they are freshly cooked and served. You won’t see trolleys with dimsum being pushed around. You need to order via their APP by scanning the QR code. They have Chinese and English menu, so no worries there. Good place for lunch, does get busy (and noisy) so good to go before the rush hour for a more pleasant dining experience as well as enjoy their early breakfast deals."
